Status: May be weird because of Unity 5/WebGL upgrade.


I made Ghost Bird as part of the A-Team (me, @achapin, and @ajackieawesome) at the Philly Game Jam.

This was my first on-site game jam (I spent all but maybe 4 hours of the ~42 hour jam awake, which may have been a little excessive), and it was a blast. Ghost Bird ended up winning the WTF Award, probably for its difficulty.

The theme of the jam was Ghosts of Video Games Past, and we decided to do a fairly simple avoider/collector where the things to avoid are abstract shapes that follow the paths of classic video game characters/entities. It was a pretty smooth construction process, though I think there were a few key issues that remained at the end (such as a buggy reset, and too little direction in an open world).
